After a year in operation, the Armstrong launderette at University College, Worcester is providing a very popular service to the students and to the Accommodation and Services Management.

The equipment includes 15 Primus R7 coin-operated washer-extractors and 8 Speed Queen 20lb stack gas dryers – 16 dryers in all. The launderette provides a seven day, long hour service to the students on the 583 room campus and, as often happens, it has become a favourite meeting place for many of them

The Accommodation Manager said ’It is important that we provide our students with a first-class, economical facility that is totally reliable. Armstrong give us total support and the arrangement is working very well.’
