After 24 years faithful service the Speed Queen tumble dryers at the Denbigh Cleaning Centre have been replaced with six new machines – Speed Queens from Armstrong Commercial Laundry Systems of course.
‘They weren’t new when we installed them in 1981’ says owner Gwyn Morris, ‘and they were still going strong when we took them out.’ Gwyn analysed his energy bills and found that the new generation of Speed Queens are so much more efficient that it paid to replace the old ones even though they were still performing well. 
‘It wasn’t a difficult decision to choose Speed Queens again’ says Gwyn ‘and the fundamentals of the design are basically the same so the installation went very smoothly.  I’m considering placing an order for six more to be delivered in 2029.’
