Armstrong again for Auchrannie

When the Auchrannie Resort needed new laundry equipment, the company researched the market and settled on Armstrong Commercial Laundry Systems. General Manager Richard Small says ‘we had been very happy with the previous equipment and the support we had from Armstrong and we were pleased they proved the most competitive. The new equipment includes five 16 kg washer extractors, three 25 kg Huebsch tumble dryers and a 1800 mm Gaion drying ironer.

Auchrannie on the Isle of Arran has grown from a 16 bedroom guest house in 1988 to a resort now comprising two 4 star hotels with 64 rooms, thirty 5 star self-catering luxury lodges, three restaurants and two leisure clubs with pools, saunas and steam rooms. Auchrannie is still developing and recently approved plans including 40 more bedrooms and a destination spa.

‘Fantastic’ Armstrong laundry at Harrison House

The £14 million Harrison House mental health facility in Grimsby has been fully equipped with new laundry based on two 16 kg Primus free standing washer extractors and two stacked Huebsch tumble dryers installed by Goodman Sparks. According to Tukes assistant manager Amy Charlton its performance is ‘fantastic’. The Tukes service operates the laundry as well as the coffee shop, cleaning and reception.

The laundry’s prime function is the care of all the unit’s flatwork. Patients process their own personal clothing in small ward laundries each comprising a small Primus washer and matching tumble dryer.

"Goodman Sparks' advice and service has been excellent throughout” said Amy Charlton. "From the initial planning to the installation their support has been invaluable."

New ironer from Armstrong ‘great improvement’ for Cheryls Cleaners

Cheryls Cleaners have been operating in the Sussex village of Ticehurst for over 25 years. The business aims to give a high quality, personal laundry and dry cleaning service to its customers and, as always, the standard of finishing is extremely important. When it became impossible to source replacement parts for the calendar, Emma McGrath researched the market thoroughly.

Armstrong reliability right for Bridge House

The Parnell family have been running the Bridge House residential home in Bristol for almost 20 years and Care Manager Mrs Jane Parnell cannot remember a time when the laundry equipment was not supplied and supported by Armstrong Commercial Laundry Systems. ‘We work our laundry hard’ says Mrs Parnell ‘We need a high standard of support and that’s what we get from Armstrong.’
